Here's one I use a lot but may not be what you'd expect. Use the rectifier model but turn the gain all the way down and tune volume to taste. Add a little reverb if you like but you should find a pretty tasty blues tone in there somewhere. Heard this on another forum and it's a keeper.

(these ones just use gain or none)
clean black panel on single-coils is real nice, the jc clean without any gain or effects is also nice.
try the britt combo with gain all the way up
try the marshall one with half to full gain for some classic rock
the rectifer one is also fun for the 90s alt with gain maxed out

I also own the Roland Microcube...awesome amp for home use....for different effects settings, go to Rolands website and find the amp section under products. Then click on the red microcube. It plays a great intro in which it shows you the settings for about 5 different styles of music. I just grabbed a paper and pen and wrote down the settings. Now I have a handful of guarenteed good sounding settings to chose from...here's the link directly

Im having difficulty trying to get a Slash sweet child of mine tone on this amp. Any suggestions please? A general Slash tone would help also. thanks. :)

is the microcube better than the roland cube 15 ?

From my understanding, a Microcube is like a Cube 30X. Same effects just less power.
The Cube 15 is lacking a reverb function or delay, I can't remember now.
Alot of people will say "skip the 15, get a cube or 30".
Oh and the model X is adds some power boost option or something.

check out this website if your looking for settings:
its in german but you should be able to understand it since it has the artist name and band and stuff...

As a few of you guys have this amp... it's only 2 watts right? Is that loud enough- i love the amount of settings and effects it has but 2 watts seems nothing:confused:

i think it depends on where you want to use it... i only use it ni the bedroom and its enough to make my sister complain...

It's actually 10 watts.
Volume in terms of watts is not noticeable unless the wattage is double
So 10-15 will be the same max volume
30 is double
60 is double 30 and so on

It's plenty loud enough for practicing in your home. I've noticed the volume seems to increase as you go from Acoustic setting towards R-Fier. With the exception of ACOUSTIC I rarely have to put the volume over 4. Great little amp.
