Hi, how many people on here from scotland? - Any beginners?

Yep. There's me for starters. I've been playing for about half a year. Whereabouts are you? I'm in the back of beyond at the minute, but I'm going to live in Aberdeen to go to Uni in the Autumn (hopefully anyway- if not i'll be in Dundee).

I'm in East Kilbride just outside of Glasgow, Yeah I've been playing not too long either, just started to play more frequently now, cos I didn't have a lot of time with training and such.

What age are you? Names Billy by the way, You use msn or what?

Well, I'm Matt, and I'm 18. Nearly 19 now, birthday in September. I don't actually use msn, never liked that thing. I'll pm you my e-mail address though.

Alright guys i'm from Kilmarnock, i'm 24 been playing for 5 months, i play acoustic mostly. Nice to see some more scots on the site.

I'm also from Scotland in the Dundee area. Compared to some of you I'm almost old enough to be your father, but I can still rip up at a party. Not been playing for long, that's why I'm here, to learn how

Thanks for making me feel better guys. in answer to the question, what kind of music do I like, the answer is simple, any one song or performer(s) that can grab my attention and say 'listen up sucker!'

Guns 'n' Roses, Oasis, The Who, The rolling Stones, Nirvana, David Bowie etc, etc.

The list goes on and on forever.

Excellent, excellent excellent! Those are the kind of bands I'm into.

Sometime in the future, we should do something. The booze up sounds good:D . Main probelm is i'm sort of stuck for transport. But when I'm at uni, I should have a decent set up, and my mate has a few amps and pedals that we'll have set up all the time.

I'm listening to a lot of acoustic stuff the now, i like dave matthews, great player. Also like a bit of arcade fire. I'm a big slash fan too, loved GNR and been listening to VR.Stone Roses, Smiths, Oasis, Charlatans, Happy Mondays too.
