Loud High E

Hi there.

I've got a little Problem. When playing my electric, it sounds like my high E is louder then all other strings and so its very dominat. Means i don't hear a certain difference between a C an a Am (which i am learning to change between in my beginner lessons :-) ).

It's maybe a subjective feeling (is that called this way in english? makes sense in german...) but maybe you got some tips what could be checked!

hey there

it happened the same to me while playing my acoustic some months ago and i noticed that the most of times i only played the down strings, like the last 3 strings , maybe it's happening the same to you, but if that is the question don't worry, the habit disappears very fast eheh:D

could be that your stirngs are getting old and need to be replace, could also be that your pickups need a bit of adj. Lower end pickups seem to have more of a problem with this, but usally a minor adj is all that it takes.
