In the dry months in the profession that I am in my hands and fingers check and crack up so I keep a can of Gardeners Protective hand salve on my desk in front of my computer and rub a bit in every day while I check out the new NLG forum posts. It keeps my hands moist and stops the checking and helps keep my finger calluses from drying out and peeling. You can use any hand cream but I use this stuff because it has little odor, is made with natural oils and contains added beeswax to help seal in moisture and protects your skin from exposure to elements during outdoor activities in any season.
