Once the string popped, I felt like a real rocker, for 2 seconds, then I felt really pissed. I don't have any extra strings, and I am not certain on how to freakin restring a damn Floyd Rose. I need to learn. I watched a video on youtube showing how to do it, but I am not sure if I trust myself. Correct me if I am wrong. All I need to do to get the little piece of the string at the bottom is loosen the long screw at the bottom of the bridge that sticks out, then I will be able to pull out the remainder of the string. Then, I take the new string, cut the ball on the end of the string off, insert the end into the bridge, tighten up the screw, then go from there? Help me out.

Sounds about right to me !!! You'll want to make sure you reset your fine tuner somewhere in the middle , so you can loosen or tighten accordingly after you lock down the nut

well thats how you do it but thats the easy part, because if this is the first time tuning a floyd rose youve got a good hour of yelling an screaming ahead of you

Dude, give me details, you can't just say I am going to be pissed off, you gotta tell me why, and what I can do to prevent myself from breaking everything is sight.

well the floyd rose is floating because of the springs underneath so first of just take the back panel off because your gonna have to adjust the springs usually but just try tuning it like a normal guitar but just keep watching the bridge because when your done you want the floyd to sit even with the body, but because of the springs when you tighten one string all the others will go flat, if the bridge comes up (it can move up quite aways so dont freak out if it does) then try tightening the springs, an if the bridge sinks down try loosening the springs, just take your time but it is a pain til you get use to it, oh an also if you go to the floyd rose site they have instructions for tuning there

You off lucky because it isn't floating so it should be easier.
