bam,nailed the beggining wow it was easy but in verse 1 what do the duble xx's
mean?? need some help here,can somone explain to me what it means and how i accomplish it?

it means mutes. u put ur fingers on the strings and strum but u dont press down on any fret. it sounds like scratching. play those fast between the notes.

so i like have my fingers on the strings it lists the xx's on and strum,i dont push the strings down just rest them on it correct?

Yes just rest your fingers on the string, so that you are dampening the sound.

Start with lightly placing your fingers on the strings and strumming, then increase the pressure slightly and strum again. Keep this up until you get the sound you are after (listen to the song) but don’t press the strings down so far that they become fretted notes.

i get a ding ding type sound lol i also notice if i rest my hand at diferent places along the frets and play it i get diferent types of ding sounds also,but theres no adsact way to tell where i rest my fingures because tyhere just x's so i just do it on the 5th fret cause the next note i play is on the 5th anyways
