Congrats on your purchase I think you will really enjoy!

My first guitar was a Godin Seagull acoustic that I started with a couple years ago and I really love. When I went electric I decided to stay with Godin and bought the Solidac model. Then I added the LG Signature to the collection. I think they're an excellent guitar and great value for the price, and they're one Canada best kept secrets.

anybody from Canada on this forum??? eh

I bought my wife an Art & Lutherie last year, excellent guitar, it sounds great. I also bought my first electric last weekend, a Godin Exit 22, although I really enjoy it, I haven't put enough time on it to give a true review but so far so good.

I've had my hands on a Seagull Maritime Spruce for about a month now. Couldn't be happier with the initial impressions and am looking forward to continued improvement in both the guitar and my ability. Playing something that sounds this good really reinforces the desire to practice.

Best of luck!

Certainly, I started with a cheap epihone, after a couple months of trying to play this guitar I purchased a seagull S6. Never made a better decision in my life.

It makes me happy to hear that. I just ordered a Seagull S6 from an online music store and I am waiting for it in the mail. It's my first guitar. I had read some of the reviews saying it gave the most bang for the buck, but I thought they might just be trying to sell more. Hearing this from an actual buyer/player makes me feel a bit more at ease.

Two weeks ago I received a Seagull S6 as a gift. I couldn't be happier... I haven't owned an acoustic in several years, and this one plays much better than the old Fender acoustic I had in college.

Sounds great, stays in tune, and looks beautiful.
