Hi everyone. I have been on the forum about a month & just found this section. This is a such a great place to learn.
I'm 39 & I started learning in Feb 2007 with the Hal Leonard "Beginning Guitar" books. Then in between book 1 & 2, I ordered Tim & David's video. <plug>The video is a great help when you are learning without an instructor. The tip on shared fingers while playing chords was worth the price alone!</plug>

Anyway, here is a link to my site I created for the family. The first song (Desperado) I recorded last weekend. 2 tracks. Ovation acoustic with my Epi Les Paul Ultra for the rhythm.
The rest of the songs are in no particular order of when I recorded them.
The names that start with a "#" are usually 2 tracks & sometimes a drum machine. The rest were recorded with a play-along cd. Thanks for listening.

I liked a lot of the tracks you did. Highway To Hell doesnt play though so you may want to reupload it. All I heard was a bunch of static.

Also, try greensleaves a bit faster, its a very soothing piece but I always like it played at a medium tempo.

Thanks for the kind words guys.

The static probably sounded better than my version of Highway to Hell. It was one of my first recordings.
I told my wife about 6 months ago that I wanted a Les Paul. She said "if you learn something besides Yankee Doodle Dandy...then....then maybe you need a better guitar". Highway To Hell came on the radio right after she said it. She made the mistake of saying if I could learn the song, I should get the guitar.
You can guess what I spent my evening doing.

Rock On!
