It's too fast, for one thing. Play slower.
You're using too many strums for the intro portion (the part on the Em). I hear 8 or so downstrums; it's only 6 downstrums on the Em and then 2 on the Dm. Then that little riff. You need the open low E string to cap off that riff, by the way (after the other four notes).
The strum you have going on the verses works for the song, the one Dave uses is down down down up if you want to try that instead.

Good job, I would suggest working with a metradonm so that you start getting use to timeing. Start off playing it a little slower than normal until you have all of your chord changes and struming smooth and then going up to normal speed. One of the things that really hampers people learning guitar (myself included) is not enough use of a metradom when practicing. I found a free downloadable drum machine that I use, just so you can set the beat slow enough to give you a time frame with in to fit the strums ect.... keep practicng you are making progress

Isn't it a Em7 in the intro for the 6 downstrokes?
I bet I am hearing a Em7 in the original!

Trippy, its really a classic from about 30 or so years ago, if you go to amazon.com and do a search for music, Neil Young it will list a bunch of his albums and yo can listen to part of it, there was a time when that song was played real often on the raido, (most of us 50+ people remember)

Could play it with an Em7, most of the tabs I see (and the way Dave teaches it) have it as an Em though. People instantly recognize it when I play it with the Em, and the Em7 doesn't really sound correct. Too twangy and the extra note(s) (or excluded note, depending on how you play it) sound a little off.
It was actually Neil Young's only #1 Billboard Single back in '72; it started off as a piano song, but he switched it over to the acoustic guitar.

for your level that ain't bad--but slow it down a bit--give the music some room to breathe.
this may be of you use to you (edited forum rules do not allow links to tab sites) although the site might be helpful to Nenad, please send him the link as a PM) thanks

That sounded better, but like I said work with a metradone, or at least start practicing useing your foot to keep your beat and timming. If you listen to the song and while listening to it you tap your foot 1,2,3,4 1,2,3,4 you will get the timimg of the song, then when you are practicing, tap in 1,2,3,4 start song and keep the tapping up while you are playing, it should get smoother for you,

seems to be getting better, the cool thing about recording yourself is that you can go back and listen to your first vid, and then your last and see your progress. You can also use them to study what you are doing and see what you have to work on, Use your recordings as a tool there is a lot of info in them.

Just a suggestion (I'm no expert). On the downstrokes for the inrto, try using a "build". Meaning, first downstroke hits only the low e string, next downstroke hits e-a, next hits e-a-d, etc.
I'm pretty sure that's how Neil does it...
