i just sold one on ebay yesterday. my findings were this.

1- mics sound great, very sensitive, if you make any noise other than what you want to record it will pick it up.

2- just recording in stereo, is easy and sounds very good, however i thought the 4 track part was to difficult for that small of a interface to deal with.

3- if you have windows vista, you may find it hard to get the drivers to load correctly, i did. i was just trying to use it as a mic into the computer and use the computer to do the recording.

4 i never tried it with batteries, so i dont know how long it lasts, it will work off of batt, transformer or usb power.

5- you can also use it as a card reader and storage device.

6- controls are very weak and fragile feeling.

7- i also never tried the amp models on it. at least i think it had those on it.

so i guess it depends on what you want, if you just have a acustic it would be perfect, if recording a band practice it would also be ok, i dont think it would work to record a concert or anything that need to be really clean using the onboard mics unless you are in a soundproof room. i am instead going to get a nice keyboard and midi everything in one unit i think.
