I've been wondering what the major difference between the dvd's and the internet lessons are. Have recieved this holiday special offer and am thinking about buying the dvd's.
But as I am a member here I have access to the technique lessons online, is there any major difference between the techinique lessons on dvd and the lessons online?
Sure the lessons are based on the songs in the dvd I guess.. But are they worth buying if I have already practically been through the whole intermediate section?

Hi - the song and technique lessons have some overlap from the DVDs and the website. However, we feel if you want to learn some popular songs, and then use them as vehicles to advance your playing to the next level - then the song lesson DVDs are a great way to go. We mainly cover techniques as used in the songs and progressions - but thereare bonus lessons on some of the DVDs and some of those lessons are also on the site. WHat is not on the site is the song lessons - so if you like the songs and want the full on song lessons with the guitar solos and everything, then consider the song dvds
-hope that helps - feel free to email me any other questions.

I've been messing around for about a year, but consider myself a new new beginer.
My question is: what would be the best choice, the 1-4 DVD lessons, or simply joining the site. Which one would get me on the way faster, I can only afford one now, but I like the idea of the year membership.
Thanks, you've been a great inspiration since I've found for site and videos

Hi Rick - thanks so much for your kind words - most appreciated! So glad that you are liking the lessons and that we can help you with your playing. If you have a fast internet connection and you like the idea of a years membership then I would say go with the site membership. Most of the materials and lesson modules on DVDs 1-4 are on the site - plus lots more. Many of our customers like the DVDs as they either have slower internet connections or they like to watch on their big TV sceens and not be tied to the computer - so we offer both - you have choices! Let me know if you have any other questions and rock on!
