Just ordered my 3 dvd set and can't wait to get my hands on it.

Been horribly busy at work and some continuing ed crap but it's over and I just dusted off my Martin (which desperately needs strings)

thanks so much for your purchase! I think you will really like the DVDs - dust off that Martin and get ready to rip it up!

Messed around with the Martin last night and ordered some new strings and a new humidifier.

Long story short my fingers are killing me and I couldn't be happier....although it's amazing how in 6 short months how much you can lose.

I'm excited to get the DVD's as I was one who followed all of your you tube video's and learned an amazing amount in just 5-10 short minutes, so I can't imagine what you packed into 2 freakn hours!

I will leave a detailed review of the video's for any fans who are on the fence

WOW!!

Not sure where to start other than I will buy every single DVD you produce or have produced...

I've played guitar for roughly 5 years but have had many gaps in said time due to training/studying for my education and career. In that time I mainly used tabs, chord charts, you tube video's etc to learn and progress with a month's worth of guitar lessons at $50 a pop.

I've always been a person that was able to pick up things fairly quickly and as a result picked up a HORRIBLE habit of skipping through the more elementary lessons (guitar/college/work)to quickly get to the bigger, better, more intresting items.

Well I can honestly say that changed with the receipt of Next Level Guitars DVD. You have really captured the art of education via building blocks. Even in the professional lessons I was quickly bored by his inability to pick up on my level and adjust his teaching technique and lessons to fit my ability. Next Level Guitar's lessons either teach you proper technique or give veterans a quality refresher. I would like to dive into this aspect a bit deeper by saying that it's a fairly quick overview of things like strumming, timing, mode, chord changes, bunching, etc for the vets with the ability to quickly rewind and watch again for a more indepth approach for the newer players.

I started from the first lesson (chords) thinking I would quickly "cheat" to the end lesson and work my way through the song (last kiss). Man was I wrong! I was just amazed at the seemingly minor details that totally brought various sections of my playing together.

Simple things like "bunching", "common strings", "timing", etc etc that while I have been doing all along I had never taken the time to think through what each idividual aspect added to the next David quickly and seamlessly describes what each adds to the next in a way that seems less like instuction and more like two guys having some beers while playing the guitar.

If anyone is thinking of getting a DVD....I say screw it buy em all because this is easily the GREATEST learning tool I have ever came across which includes Eric Clapton instructionals, proffesional lessons, a $200 compilation of theory/practicals...

My only question is:

Are there any of your DVD's that you would recommend me skipping because all I play is a Martin Acoustic?

My only suggestion is:

Is there any way you could put the words to the song on the screen like a karaoke deal or possibly inserting the words on a sheet of paper that would be included in the DVD?

(by the way I purchased the 3 disk set Sweet home Alabama, More than Words, and Last Kiss)

Thank you so much for progressing my playing light years with 3 simple DVD's.

I know this sounds like an infomerical, but screw you guys these DVD's are truely amazing.
