Hi Everyone,
I was given a Vester guitar from the neighbor that her late husband use to own. It was really beat up but with some TLC it turned out to be a reasonably decent guitar. It's a Fender Strat clone and has the word "Discovery" on the head stock. I'm looking to sell or trade in this guitar but have absolutely no idea of it's value. I cannot find any information regarding this model (or any other for that matter). Does any one here have any experience with them or do you have a blue book that might give an approx. value? I asked the local music store but they wouldn't look it up for me because "if they did that for everyone, no one would buy the book". Anyhow, I"m just looking for any possible info you guys might have. Thanks
BTW, serial number: E758857

Vester were built in the early 90's for the beginner-intermediate guitarist. Value depends on which model you have. Do you have any more info on it(# of frets, finger board material, type of inlay, pickup configuration) or a picture would be better. On average of all their models in good to very good condition( sounds like what you described) value is $100-$200

That's really part of the problem, I cant finda any info on it. It's white, has 21 frets, three single coil pickups, tremelo bar, 5-way switch, one volume and two tone controls, bolt-on neck. I really dont know what type of wood it is, except that the fretboard is rosewood. If you look at a Fender American Stratocaster, this guitar looks nearly identical in every way. Tonight I'll take a photo of it and post it.
