I've looked at the descriptions of both online and I cant tell what the difference between the two are.. anyone know?

Its 2 pounds lighter. Other than that .... I can't see a difference, can you see a difference?

2 pounds huh?? so there's gotta be something extra in the spider 3 that weighs 2 pounds,, this is gonna drive me crazy till i figure this out.. lol

The line 6 Spider 3 is their newest version of the the Spider family,

the spider 3 has a better celestion speaker, that is why it weighs an extra 2 lbs.

It also has the ability to switch from channel to channel, and you can program it easier
