New posters coming on the forum and think they can get away with foul language. Twice today I've had to delete posts that have dropped the F bomb, not cool.
A reminder this is a family forum and most people do NOT enjoy reading others trying out new words or phrases they have picked up today or this week.
I've been on other forums where this language is the norm and there are no moderators. I refuse to post or go there anymore. We don't want that here at Next Level Guitar.
KEEP IT CLEAN
Thank You

With all the concern about keeping this forum expletive free, may I suggest setting up a link embedded into the existing forums for a forum for adults with posts that may not be child friendly that would need a New Login and be for Members Only, not to say this would be a free for all forum but, to allow adult members to speak freely,, No advertisements, No porn site links, No racial comments.
A place where one can truly express one’s feelings about how it felt when they embedded the high E string into there pinky while practicing a four fret slide.
Jus another one of my 2cent posts
P.S. I’d be willing to pay an extra 5 bucks a year for it.

no, that would be unnaceptable. do you really need to curse in order to express your feelings?
but you all may want to post a forums rules thing at the top of the list, so that everyone knows ahead of time.
oh and by the way, you know what really burns my @$$>
a fire about as high as my thighs. haha LOL

That wouldn't be fair to the other members. You would basically leave this forum behind as manly teens and adults fill it. And if all the adults leave the teens and below get left out.

"Many Thanks" to the mod sqaud ......they come behind us and clean up our messes so a post can still be beneficial to all.
It would be nice if we didn't leave any messes for 'em:rolleyes:

That’s not necessarily true if it only had one or two categories
i.e. “You Can Go Off Here”

In today's society that is a way of life, no one thinks twice about it, I still do not swear in front of my parents. People wonder why their kids turn out the way they do, it is a matter of respect. I agree this should be kept PG. You never know, your pastor may be reading this!!! I do my fair share of swearing but never to people I don't know or elders. I am a disabled VET. I talk to a lot of kids, I can never say, hey! I taught that kid how to say that. Just a thought. ;)

This is not, and never will be, a site that allows swearing or profanity and any of its areas. I find it difficult to beleive that some people who are trying to expand their creative abilities cannot dig up the creative ability to express themselves without swearing. For those people, take a five minute visit to the next site and vent there. Come back when you're feeling 'expressed'.

This is a good point.. In my life, swearing is almost common nature. I swear like a sailor, BUT.. This forum has no place for it.
If at the very least, this forum will help you curve your language, and hopefully expand your knowlege on building expressions without the use of profane language.
Besides, if you do it, it will get deleted. This site is very much like baseball ;) 3 strikes and........... you get the idea.

I tend to treat forums like I do my workplace.
I use certain words all the time away from work...but I like my job and want to keep it so I keep my language clean when here.
It's not that big a deal to not type a profane word anyway.

I guess this is just common sense to me. I wouldn't go to a public meeting in real life and use unnecessary language so why do it here. The same courtesy applies.

If you can use a curse word somewhere there is a polite and more intelligent alternative somewhere waiting to be used, darnit.
