I think a Joe Satriani song lesson would have a lot to learn from, and sell well.

My personal most wanted lesson would be "Always with me, always with you"

I was just wondering if there was any plans for a Satriani DVD.

I'll put a big 2nd on that one Jamie. Joe is one my of my all time favorites. I agree with ya on "always with me, always with you" I alwso like "I believe" , "Speed of Light", "Surfing With the Alien". Also he has a new album out.

I would love to do a Satriani DVD teaching his style of play. I dont know if acquiring publishing rights to do a tune of his is possible. Will have to look into that one. That guy is awesome!

I started on this song a few days ago. It's not going too bad so far.

I'm sure if I keep at it and get the feel of the song, I can learn it right. At the end of the day it's only just over 3 minutes long.

hrblocked seems to have got off to a good start on the song

Another DVD lesson I would definitely buy, would be a Metallica song.

I'm learning the tapping part and the 2nd part of that intro lead right now. What an awesome song, definitely recommend learning this one.

Always With Me, Always With you is like... flawless. its just so perfect. I know most of it, but after the tapping I just improv until the outtro. I also just learned Midnight. That song is just genious. But anyways, what i was trying to get at was i think a lesson on Starry Night would be great. Its a simple song but just amazing, and its Satch! So theres my vote. cheers :)

I'v learned most of Always with you always with me. I'm still trying to perfect it though cause parts are a bit sloppy. I've started learning Satch Boogie and Rubina's Blue Sky Happiness too :D

Here's what I have so far on this song. I've also got the intro and the tapping down, but I'm waiting to record those until I get the rest of the song. Mind you I still have a lot to learn and as I get better I"ll add more dynamics including some harmonics. Oh and I used my little Ibanez amp on this because I was too lazy to bring my Line6 up stairs, too heavy.

Wow that really sux. They must have a tight grip on his songs because he refuses to teach his songs on the satch zone. I think I'll pay the $300 to see him in concert and meet with him and ask him whats up on that

I started working on a song from Joe's new album called Come On Baby. Here's what I have so far, this was my first attempt I only learned this part today, so please forgive my mistakes.

Edit: I redid it. Still working on the rest of this song.

This week I started working on Summer Song and Ten Words.

Here's a short clip of the beginning of Ten Words I recorded a few days ago.
