requesting a song.

so do you have to have the name of band and can you list a link or a site to you tube or something like that? Because this guy you tube transposed a song only for piano to guitar and I want to learn to play it and it seems like its a good medium guitar level song. But the Question is am I breaking the rules by requesting it?
