Default Please Read Before Posting ANY Speed issues

Thank you

Tim

Please Read Before Posting ANY Speed issues Hello Good People

Please Please Please read this before posting any speed issues with the site

We do our very best to provide the most personal customer service on the web and appreciate your dedication to helping make this the best online guitar resource in the world.

We do not have the resources of Youtube or Google we wish lol billions of dollars at our disposal to have load balanced servers and datacenters throughout the world to provide maximum output

Our site is optimized to its maximum potential without and infusion of millions of dollars in cash

We have people all over the world who have super fast access
We have noticed certain customers with DSL even high speed dsl
have site slow downs we have current cases in which when they switched to Broadband cable the site works fast and smooth

David and I would love to spend more time creating free videos and membership site content every hour we spend going over these speed issues takes away from your potential learning

So we ask that you read the following info

ROCK ON

Tim

To start off after extensive testing our server is not overloaded our database is highly optimized all systems are go We have the optimum RAM in our server hard drive capacity and bandwith

I do see there are a few users that have speed issues
if you look at forum posts we have members ALL OVER the World
with excellent results

When an end user goes to NLG it goes through about 20 hops or you can think of it as 20 highways to get to us or almost any destination on the net

if there is a glitch or pothole on the internet highway it can cause slow speed or even not allow a video to show up

We appreciate all your help in trouble shooting this issue but there will be cases in which a member may not find our site a viable solution we will accommodate you with an immediate full refund or our DVDS

We truly wish there would be Super Fast Speed for everyone but we did not build the Internet highway we are just its humble servants trying to rock the world on it.

After spending several hours talking with a level 2 support technician
he stated if an immediate hop or road out of our server has a slow hop
they can work with admin to reroute to another road

so if you are having an issue you can private message your ip address
to acquire your ip address it is very simple click this link below
http://whatismyip.com/

To conclude even if we have your IP there is not an exact time frame on when or if the HOP or road can be rerouted so our DVD options may be your best bet

It kills me not to be able to give you all the high speed access you deserve

ROCK ON

TIm

Quick update below Sent to us by a Member
Thank You for this

Fix for Quicktime stuck at 'Negotiating' (Windows XP) I was having the 'stuck at negotiating' issue with the Quicktime lessons. Here is what worked for me:

Settings in Quicktime:

Open Control Panel -> Quicktime
- Set the 'Streaming' tab to your DSL speed
- In the advanced tab set the first drop down to 'Custom', UDP, 554

Windows Firewall:

Open Control Panel -> Network
- Open the properties of the DSL connection
- In the advanced tab click on 'Settings' for Windows Firewall
- Click on the 'Exceptions' tab and 'Add Port'
- Type in Quicktime, 554 and make sure you click 'UDP'

I can now view all of the Quicktime lessons!! Rock on!!!!
