Like I said I thought that it was good, I am impressed with shreders, even though its not my faviorte stuff to listen to. But the shred blues just did not work for me. That did not mean it wasn't tonally correct or anything like that, all it meant was that blues at hyper speed is not something that I enjoyed, others might have liked it. SOme of your other stuff was impressive and the amount of time and effort that you have put into learning must be tons, way more than I will ever commit to. But not everyone will like that style, and there are certian people on the forum that don't know near as much as they like to apprear to know. But that is no reason to attack or belittle people who do not like, or understand, or whatever. Thanks

Default hmmm oxymoron?

next level guitar . . . . maybe im missing something here. While it is unlikely I will stay on this forum, due to my crass, to the point attitude, it is nice to see a forum with such a nomenclature, it means SOMEONE realized music does progress, regardless of purist thought or skills. I have played blues alot longer than anything else, and I have taken the time to give a little opinion here about the response that was given to a friend, by someone who claims things his own signature would destroy in the eyes of a purist of the blues. SRV was looked at in the same type of manner back in the day by greats like BB King, too fast, not really blues, but then came SRV style guitar that everyone and their uncle tried to play like.
I dont feel that the blues shredder bashed anyone, only rebutted against being bashed. maybe there is more than meets the eye here in this forum. Every forum has its regulars and it rejects. I have seen many forums with many of both, and honestly, when someone shares a skill level like his, you should feel honored to have heard it. basically giving not any constructive criticism but obviously it was him that was the one that was bashing and it is fine to not like something but to say things that are without merit .. that don't make sense and for the sake of illustrating a pointless point, flaming others to make himself feel better, or to cause drama, point of downfall .. as in downfall of what .. like this forum? many have fallen before this forum and more will fall still, because people like the drama.

"get a noise gate" and be like redb - - - real blues players dont bother with noise gates, lol and that is a band aid, if you REALLY want to solve the problem, get better pickups.

this is my first time here, and honestly, it will probably be my last. I wont even bother posting a link to my tracks, because of opinions that seem to suffer from anal cranial infusion.

Seems this guy came here for some honest feedback on a new idea that he came up with(imagine that in music) and what he got was a lecture on his equipment and pretty much his whole approach to expression.

Any red blooded human being with or without a set ( i'll edit myself)would more than likley react the same way.

zZZINTOaWayOUTZzz there are a lot of good people around here that can give you an honest opinion without the sermon. I hope you and visitors arn't too put off by this.

Just a member that loves the atmoshphere of this forum and doesn't want it to change.

Deleted by Ez-one this has gone on long enough, I can see how the orignal poster felt attacked, I do not know anyone that can tell pickup height by hearing a song or two. (I could be way off since I have only been around guitars for the last 40 years) Thread closed

Ez I'm with you on this one and I don't like the way this thread is heading. I appreciate all types of music that doesn't mean I like them all.Opinions or thoughts can be exchanged and given In a manner that don't get people upset and I believe some posters need to sit back and ask themselves if they really handled themselves in an adult manner. I am Closing this thread.
