DVD Introduction – In this introduction Jennifer discusses the lesson format, the structure for the coming song lessons, and how to piece the song together in the fastest and most efficient manner. She talks briefly about instrumentation and sound for the song.

Intro Slide Guitar – Here you will learn to play a lead slide guitar part for the song intro. Jennifer will show you the notes, slide placement, and picking techniques. You will learn with up close shots of the neck and at slow and regular speeds. Once you learn these slide notes, you can build on them to develop your own slide improvisations!

Basic Rhythm - In this section you will be shown the rhythm guitar part which makes up the main blues rhythm of the song. Jennifer discusses the theory behind the power fifth chords and how they can be used to play the blues. She shows the finger positions, strumming pattern, and variations on the power fifths. You will see the chords in a tight shot, with a close-up focus on the finger positions.

Vocal Tracking - Here you will learn how to use the guitar to play the main melody of the song along with the lead vocal. Jennifer shows you the notes to play and how to sing along with your guitar. You will learn that this tracking technique will help you to develop your ear and improve your own song learning capabilities!

Lead Guitar Solo - In this section you will learn a signature lead guitar solo to incorporate into the song. Jennifer breaks down each piece of the solo and shows note-for-note how to play the pieces. Each of these guitar licks are broken down and played at slow and regular speeds as well as demonstrated and explained with a tight shot of the neck. Jennifer also teaches what fingerings work best for fluidity and how to get from one lick to the next.

Three Bonus Slide Lessons - Jennifer Breaks down how to use a slide to play Awesome blues licks. She makes it fun and simple to spice up your playing.
